What is the CAMSE Kit?

CAMSE Kit is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization founded in Evansville, Indiana.

CAMSE is short for Cam's Sensory Equipment Kit.

The kits were created by Kelsey Schapker, in celebration of her son Camden, who is on the autism spectrum. The kits allow law enforcement, first responders and other organizations to bring comfort to special needs children and adults in the event of a crisis or emergency situation.

Crucial Benefits of Having a CAMSE Kit

Being able to communicate with and help an individual with special needs remain calm by providing sensory tools while a first responder works a scene.
In addition, the kits also assist an individual on the spectrum or anyone with a sensory need while in a stressful location, such as an airport.
